Afield's New 'Spatialising the Curriculum' Article Published

An article by Emily Johanna Ashton, Kai Wood Mah, and Patrick Lynn Rivers was published online today in the international and peer-reviewed Journal of Curriculum Studies with hard copy publication to follow. The article, titled “Spatialising the Curriculum” and found here, is a major output of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Democratic Early Childhood Development (DECD) grant project conceptualised and led by Mah and Rivers. The article is used to articulate design and curriculum into an actual space and to, in the process, advance the deconcentration of early childhood development resources in South Africa.
